PRIMEROS PINITOS

I got a prize from PRIMEROS PINITOS!! my first virtual blogging prize!! many many thanks!!

My 5 blogs chosen for the prize are the following:

An assorted selection of contents for his web and blog. Totally cool :)

Newest of them all. just a few posts yet, but a strong style :)

Just look at his paintings!! he also has a caricature blog :)

NACHO MOLINA: Otro que casi no sabe pintar, jeje...

Another one that can hardly paint (ironic, of course)

I love the mix of illustration+ philosophy+ literature+ poetry... and humor :)

Adelante!! :)

I have to mention Lidix, already with a prize in Perico's blog, but who I want to encourage to continue drawing and doing things though sometimes is tough.

I HOPE YOU LIKE THESE BLOGS AS MUCH AS ME!!

ESPERO QUE OS GUSTEN MUCHOOOO!!!

BEEESOS!

Doodles in the blank book

:D Besos

** Hello again! I think this one's last .

Some time ago I bought a blank book. It's not a drawing book, not even a sketch book, but it has a Hokusai print on the cover (I love it) and the sheets are soft. So I decided to use it to do some doodles cause I like to touch it. I post here 2 of those... re-discovering the fine marker and the colour pencils ( I got a box as an unexpected xmas gift :)...

I'll stop here for tonight... I'm gonna go around...

Ah.. We have ellections in Spain... I hope the winners try to make our life easier, which is what politics is meant for... and stop bothering each other which doesn't lead anyone anywhere...

:D Love **

MoñeeEcoOooS! PluShieeeEesS!!

Me encantan.

Besos

** You know what happens on Sunday, we have more time so I end up uploading everything in one go... Well, we'll keep it for when there's nothing... :) Surfing through Flickr I found some cool photos of toys and I felt jelous, so I called all my plushies and fluffy toys to get arranged on the sofa to get a picture of them all... I love them, some are missing but I think most of them are here.

The snowboarder, the blue one, the pink one and the yellow pyramid are fully handmade by my friend Dee. He should sell them and he would end up appearing in the stock exchange, hahaha :). Deeeee, you blog yourself NOW!!! ;b

Mr. Plot's blank book

Holaa!

Besos

** Hello! How are you all doing?

I'm posting here a drawing I did this morning for my friend Mr. Plot (don't get mixed up with the "Mr." before the name: he is actually younger than me :). he gave me his blank book and asked me for a drawing. He already did that with some friends of his and work colleagues, and the level was already very high.. I was afraid... I hope he likes it ... and you too... It's all colour pencils, a bit of water to enhance some strokes and that's it, I just digitally added some paper texture, no other digital processing :)

Andrea's table

**And that's all for today, three in one go!! I don't know what has possesed me! hahaha! The thing is I came back from the holidays with loads of rubbish in mind to do drawings and paintings... I don't have much spare time so let's see how long this lasts...

Anyway, these are ideas and sketches for painting the PC table of a friend of mine. She didn't ask for anything in particular, but I imagine it like this: vectorial, plain colours, funny characters... Let's hope she likes one of them, I haven't shown them to her yet. I'll be very glad if you tell me which one you would choose, so I can do some research in the meanwhile, thankyouuu!!! :D **

Daughter

** Another one: this is a drawing I did inspired by the song daughter, by Pearl Jam. I always liked that song and I wanted to draw something about it for a while. You can listen to it pressing play :) Hope you like it! **

Riders

Hola!!

** Hello!!

Here I am again with another little sketch from the snow. I did it from a photo, don't think I do sketches in the snow gondola with gloves on and that cold weather, and all the snow gear on! jejeje hope you like it anyway :)

Another panoramic picture from Whistler is included for getting in the mood... **

May the Inukshuk be your guide...

>>Hola!!

>> Espero actualizar pronto!! Besos!!

*** Helloo! how's everything? I'm back from the holidays!! I enjoyed them a lot!! I had loads of fun and they have been some of the best :D

>> To share a bit of all that I post this composition of stuff: drawings I made there, photos, tickets... I have been playing with the stuff I had, but I didn't know how to fit everything ... there are so many things!! There will be more and I hope you don't get bored...

>> I also post a pan picture, trying its best, but unable to transmit the inmense nature that has dwarfed, swallowed and overwhelmed us all...

>> And a self collective portrait after enjoying the snow (taken with a fisheye cam)...

>> I hope to be able to upload some more little windows to see that world of kind people, delicious ribs and continuous snow made of pure cream... :D

>> I hope I will update soon!! Love! ***

Many many thanks to Jase, Antonio and Miguel !! :D

Ratitos

Hola! :D Besos!!

*** Hello! Before going on holidays and in order to post something before next week, I upload these pin-ups (?) that I made up during those lost (short and few) moments at work (I shouldn't say this... ¬¬) I hope to do something better with them when I come back... hugs:D ***

And no one saw the Carny go...

***Hello again! I update the blog today so it doesn't keep a xmas look while we are already working hard (¡?) and going to the january sales... hehehe.

As I don't have much time because of working reasons I am posting an image I already posted in the ISG blog when the subject was painting your lyris, so some of you have already seen it... If you want to listen to the song that inspired me click on the youtube player to get down to it (only the final part, that appears in Wings of desire by Wim Wenders)... (while waiting for loading you could feed Sherekhanny...)

Hope you like it... :) ***

** Even if you are not Spanish you might know the tradition of the Three Wise Men.

Just a funny way to see it, for ordinary geeky people!! :-D

Hope you got everything you asked for this year! **

NEW YEAR

Hola! :-)

Hello! I'm finally updating... The freelancing doesn't let me have many leisure moments... see if when I finish I can continue publishing stuff a bit more often... I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and that the New Year smiles to you all!! :-)

HAPPY 2008!!!

Halloween in the fridge

Hola!

* Hello hello! At last I have a little moment to peep into the blog and publish something... Just some sketches I did after spending Halloween night at the SnowZone in Xanadu (Indoors snow dome close to Madrid)... We are soooo weird... But we laughed a lot... Anyway, some laughs and drawings with any excuse :-) *

Hola otra vez! * Hello again! Many many thanks for your comments for the previous post. I am very glad you are visiting me. I will also visit your sites :-D. These are some pencil sketches I did from some fotos from the book "Viaje a la India" ( apart from the cat, which is mine) ... I toyed again with the textures to make it a bit more interesting ^_^ Ah, by the way, don't forget to feed Shere-Khanny! *

Un Niño Bueno // A Good Boy

* >>There we go: a portrait!, traditional but digital :-) looking for a different look using textures and real photos added to the traditional painting. I had loads of fun... so I hope you like it (and I hope the guy in the photo likes it too). Ah, and thanks for your comments, they make me go ahead ^_^ <<*

Kassia

*...And another one, because just one post after so long would even make me feel embarrassed... The surfer girl, using a photo of Kassia as a reference, but no cheating, eeeh?.. I had a lot of fun doing this one :-) *
